Ghosted Launches Platform to Bring Transparency to the Hiring Process

New platform gives candidates a voice in the application and interview process for the first time

May 15, 2026 — The hiring process has always been a one-way mirror. Ghosted is changing that. Launching today, Ghosted is an online platform that lets candidates anonymously rate and review the individual recruiters and hiring managers they meet during their job search, shining a light on both standout experiences and ones that fell short.

In the past year, 53% of job seekers were ghosted by a potential employer, amounting to a three-year high. Yet until now, candidates have had no centralized way to flag those experiences, share what went wrong, or find out what to expect before walking into an interview.

While tools like Glassdoor have given candidates valuable insight into company culture and compensation, there's been no equivalent resource for the people actually running the hiring process. Ghosted fills that gap, giving job seekers the context they need before an interview, and a place for them to leave their honest feedback.

"The hiring process is full of professionals who do it well, and candidates who've had great experiences should be able to say so," said Kevin Maharaj, founder of Ghosted. "But when the process breaks down, candidates have had nowhere to turn. Ghosted gives everyone a voice."

Ghosted allows users to search for a recruiter or hiring manager by name, read reviews from other candidates, and leave their own anonymous review detailing their experience. Reviews can include star ratings, whether they were ghosted, the number of interview rounds, and whether an offer was received.
