About Ghosted

What is Ghosted?

Ghosted is the first platform built exclusively to review talent acquisition professionals and hiring managers. Not company culture in general — the actual people who run the hiring process. Candidates who have gone through the process can search by company or recruiter name, read what others experienced, and leave a review of their own. Whether you landed the role or not, the process is worth documenting.

How is Ghosted different from Glassdoor?

Glassdoor covers broad company culture — salary, leadership, office life. Ghosted is focused exclusively on the hiring process, and reviews are tied to individual recruiters and talent acquisition specialists, not just the company overall. You can look up the specific person you're about to work with.

Is Ghosted affiliated with any employer or recruiter organization?

No. Ghosted is entirely independent. We are not affiliated with any employer, recruiter association, or HR body. The platform is built for candidates, with no financial relationship with the companies or individuals being reviewed.

Is Ghosted free to use?

Yes. Reading and submitting reviews on Ghosted is completely free. No hidden costs, no subscriptions.

Leaving a Review

Do I need an account to leave a review?

Yes. You need a free Ghosted account to submit a review. Creating one takes less than a minute and only requires an email address. Accounts help us maintain the integrity of reviews and prevent abuse.

Are reviews anonymous?

Yes. All reviews on Ghosted are anonymous. Your name and email address are never displayed publicly or linked to your review. We only require an email to create an account, and that information is never shared.

Do I need to have gotten the job — or been rejected — to leave a review?

Neither. Ghosted reviews are about the hiring process, not the outcome. Whether you received an offer, were rejected, withdrew your application, or were ghosted entirely — your experience is worth documenting.

What if the recruiter I want to review isn't listed yet?

You can add them. After creating a free account, use the Add a Professional feature to add the recruiter or hiring manager. If their company isn't listed either, you can add that at the same time. Once added, their profile is live and you can leave your review immediately.

Can I edit or delete my review after submitting?

Yes. You can edit or delete any review you have submitted at any time. Log in, go to My Profile, and you will find options to edit or delete your reviews from there. You can also manage your reviews directly from the professional's profile page.

Can I review someone more than once?

No. Each user can leave one review per professional to keep ratings fair and accurate. If your experience changes or you want to update your review, you can edit your existing one.

What makes a good review?

The best reviews are specific and grounded in what actually happened. Focus on the process: communication, transparency, follow-through, and how you were treated as a candidate. Avoid personal attacks. The subject is the hiring experience, not the individual's character.

Reading Reviews

How do I search for a recruiter or company?

Use the search bar on the homepage. You can search by recruiter name or company name. You can also use the Browse page to explore all professionals and companies on Ghosted, filtered by rating, number of reviews, or alphabetically.

What if I think a review is inaccurate or unfair?

If you believe a review contains false information or violates our content guidelines, you can report it directly from the review using the Report button, or contact us at report@ghostedplatform.com. We review all flagged content against our policies. We do not remove reviews simply because the subject disagrees with them.

Trust & Safety

What content is not allowed on Ghosted?

Reviews that include personal attacks unrelated to the hiring process, defamatory statements, discriminatory language, or private personal information are not permitted. Ghosted is a platform for professional feedback, not personal grievances.

How does Ghosted handle false or malicious reviews?

We have a content moderation process for flagged reviews. Reviews that violate our guidelines will be removed. Users who repeatedly submit content that violates our policies may lose access to the platform.
