1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use Ghosted. By using the Platform, you represent that you meet this requirement.

2. Accounts

To submit reviews, you must create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at contact@ghostedplatform.com if you suspect unauthorized use of your account. You may not create more than one account, use another person's account, or create accounts through automated means.

3. What Ghosted Is and Is Not

Ghosted is a platform for candidate reviews of the hiring process. We do not verify employment claims, independently investigate the events described in reviews, or take responsibility for the accuracy of user-submitted content. Ghosted is a publisher of third-party opinion, not a journalist or investigative body. Reviews represent the individual experiences and opinions of their authors.

4. Content Standards

By submitting a review, you represent that you personally participated in the hiring process you are reviewing, your review reflects your honest first-hand experience, and your review does not contain knowingly false statements of fact.

You may not submit content that:

• Is defamatory, harassing, threatening, or abusive toward any individual
• Contains discriminatory language based on race, gender, religion, national origin, disability, sexual orientation, or any other protected characteristic
• Discloses confidential business information you are legally obligated to protect
• Constitutes a personal attack unrelated to the professional conduct of the hiring process
• Is submitted by a competitor for the purpose of damaging a recruiter's or company's reputation
• Violates any applicable law or regulation

5. Intellectual Property

By submitting a review, you grant Ghosted a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to display, distribute, and use your review content on the Platform and in promotional materials related to the Platform. You retain ownership of the content you submit. The Ghosted name, logo, and platform design are proprietary. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from Ghosted's intellectual property without written permission.

6. Content Moderation & Removal

Ghosted reserves the right to remove any content that violates these Terms or our content guidelines, at our sole discretion. We also reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that repeatedly violate these Terms. Individuals or organizations who believe a review contains false statements of fact or violates our guidelines may submit a removal request to report@ghostedplatform.com. We do not remove reviews based solely on the subject's disagreement with the content.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Ghosted platform is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the Platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or completely secure. We do not endorse or verify the accuracy of any user-submitted review.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Ghosted shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Platform or any content published on it. Our total liability to you for any claim arising from these Terms or your use of the Platform shall not exceed $100.

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Ghosted and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the Platform, your review submissions, or your violation of these Terms.

10. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Platform will be resolved through binding arbitration in New York, except that either party may seek injunctive relief in a court of competent jurisdiction for intellectual property violations or matters requiring emergency relief.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the effective date and, for material changes, notify registered users by email. Your continued use of the Platform after updated Terms are posted constitutes your acceptance of the changes.

12. Termination

You may request deletion of your account at any time by contacting us at contact@ghostedplatform.com. We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your access to the Platform at any time for violations of these Terms, without prior notice.
